We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Safety Coordinator to join an exciting civil infrastructure project in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a safety professional committed to delivering high standards, fostering a strong safety culture, and contributing to significant infrastructure projects. 

**About the Role****

This position offers the opportunity to take a leadership role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of a key infrastructure project. As Senior Safety Coordinator, you will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and project management to ensure compliance with all safety requirements and drive continuous improvement throughout all phases of construction.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Provide HSE advice and support to site and project teams across civil construction works.
  • Conduct HSE audits, site inspections, incident investigations, and deliver targeted training to reinforce a positive safety culture.
  • Uphold and communicate project and client-specific HSE standards, implementing strategies to continuously improve safety outcomes.
  • Assist with the rollout, maintenance, and ongoing management of the HSE system, including key documentation and registers.
  • Ensure site compliance with relevant safety procedures and expectations through effective engagement with all stakeholders.

*About You*

  • 5+ years' experience in a Safety Advisor role within the Civil Construction industry
  • Must have TMR experiance
  • Minimum Certificate IV in OHS or higher.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of appropriate Australian Safety legislation, standards and codes.
  • Demonstrated ability in advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
