Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Safety Advisor/Coordinator based in Brisbane, QLD which will see the successful applicant placed with a valued and growing Commercial Building client. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety training, performing incident investigations, and ensuring overall compliance with safety regulations. Daily tasks include monitoring workplace safety practices, developing documentation, conducting safety audits/inspections, overseeing contractor safety management and providing safety-related guidance and support to the team.

Applicants have unrestricted working rights in Australia and be readily available to commence work in Brisbane in the immediate future.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Health, Safety and Environment related disciplines
  • Experience with Safety Auditing and Incident Investigation
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Relevant certifications in the field of Work Health and Safety are necessary
  • Previous experience in a similar role is require
