We are working with a top-tier international law firm who are looking for an Associate to join their Environmental and Planning team within their Sydney team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and experienced team, working on a diverse range of commercial real estate matters. The candidate's duties will include a mix of advisory, transactional, and strategic litigation practices.

The candidate will play a key role in advising client on high-profile matters, focused on facilitating Australia's renewable energy transition. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

  • 4+ PQE;
  • Strong background in environmental law and/or projects. Previous experience in energy and tech transitions highly advantageous;
  • Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
  • Outstanding academics;
  • Technically excellent;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Willingness to become involved in business development;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
