Energy Monitoring System / Automation Technician

BE Integration (part of BE Switchcraft, established 50+ years) is looking for a motivated Energy Monitoring Systems (EMS) / Automation Technician to join our team.

This role will be mainly working with EMS, EV Chargers, Power Meters, Modbus, and BACnet, while also assisting with organising jobs and liaising with clients. There are also opportunities to work on Lighting Control systems.

We'll provide on-the-job training — this is a great opportunity for someone with strong computer/network skills who wants to build a career in automation and energy management.

What you'll do

  • Commission, service & troubleshoot EMS and automation systems.
  • Assist with job scheduling and client communication.
  • Support documentation and reporting.
  • Work alongside senior technicians and project managers.

What we're looking for

  • Strong computer & networking knowledge.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Driver's licence.

Bonus skills (not required):

  • Electrical/Electronics knowledge.
  • Experience with Modbus, C, C#, Lua, Python.
  • Electrical License

A permanent full-time role is available to the right candidate following a successful trial period, along with a competitive remuneration package based on experience.
