Renewable Energy Leader Wanted
Project Engineer Role SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a global EPC providing solutions to the BESS market. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing design, and leading the execution of BESS projects.
Responsibilities:- Lead project execution, ensuring scope, schedule, stakeholders, and communication are well-managed.
- Identify gaps in scope & responsibility, working with stakeholders to address them for project success.
- Apply engineering principles and consult subject matter experts to identify issues and drive solutions on projects.
- Specify equipment for projects as required, including Transformers, Switchgear, protection solutions, etc.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication.
- Review project design documents, including single line drawings, communication diagrams, layouts, equipment test reports, etc.
- Plan and lead BESS project commissioning.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical or power system engineering) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading project design, preferably in large power stations or PV or other utility-scale power projects.
- 3+ years of BESS or PV project experience preferred.
- PE certification or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with permitting processes with local authorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30%.
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments.
