The role
Working within a small team, the purpose of this role is to process vendor invoices (approximately 100+/day) in line with business terms and conditions, and related policies. Overall, you will contribute to corporate profitability by maximising the efficiency and integrity of accounts payable processes.
To be successful in this role you will have a customer-first mindset and enjoy a busy, mostly automated environment and be comfortable challenging the status quo. Outside of meeting deadlines, the role does have task flexibility giving you the option to manage you own day.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and relevant regulations.
- Maintain and monitor invoice verification through Readsoft modules.
- Manage the vendor queries mailbox and respond promptly.
- Oversee daily invoice workflow, including approvals and issue resolution.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and provide backup for payment runs and intercompany clearing.
- Maintain accurate AP records in line with audit standards and company policies.
What You'll Bring

- Experience in an accounts payable/procurement role within a large environment.
- Experience with SAP highly regarded.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team that appreciates a sense of humour.
- Strong work ethic and comfortable with some manual tasks when validating information.
- Appreciation for customer service when responding to queries without compromising quality.
