About the role

Immanuel Lutheran College is seeking a secondary teacher to fulfill a newly created role, where you can combine strategic thinking, operational outcomes, and your passion for classroom teaching. The Director of Student Data and Performance will join our Senior Leadership Team (Secondary) from January 2026. This critical role will be responsible for driving student engagement, academic success, and work across all facets of our Secondary School, where the whole person is the whole point.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage, collate, interpret, and communicate targeted data across the secondary school to provide insights, interventions and improvements
  • Lead, inspire and upskill colleagues in the interpretation and use of data to inform professional practice
  • Contribute to the development of appropriate interventions and/or initiatives across the secondary school in response to data trends
  • Cultivate a positive school culture that maximised the academic and social outcomes of students
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Secondary School

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in education
  • Significant experience in a secondary school setting, with a proven track record of driving student outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the capacity to inspire and motivate others
  • Demonstrated abilities in data-informed decision making
  • Strong, innovative problem-solver who turns complex data into clear insights and practical actions that lift teaching quality and student outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleague's

3.    Discuss how you pursue continuous professional development. Highlight a specific course or experience that significantly improved your professional practice.

4.    Outline your philosophy on what constitutes a quality data-driven education and how you would lead the implementation of a data-informed practice that would directly benefit students
