Summary of Role

The Business Analyst will be part of the rapidly developing Foundation Solutions business unit, working with the global Nextracker team and closely with the Foundation Solutions Director this role will assume significant strategic responsibility for the development and continual improvement of key business systems, operational processes and relationships within Nextracker and with our network of clients and partners.

Operational responsibilities will be broad and will develop with the business, a background in operational excellence will be regarded highly.

The role will require excellent written language skills to meet our knowledge sharing objectives within the Australian market and our desire to develop a training excellence program.

Accountabilities

Environment, Health and Safety

  • Be a visible Safety Leader; be proactive in continual improvement in the welfare of people interacting with the business.
  • Work on the implementation and achievement of the strategic Nextracker EHS plan
  • Ensure that the business is 100% compliant with Australian WHS requirements including the obligation as a PCBU
  • Maintain the business risk management plan
  • Proactively challenge the operations team around safety and facilitate discussions around safety improvements.
  • Ensure that all safety events are thoroughly investigated, and root causes are identified with suitable corrective actions.

Business Systems

  • Work to refine and develop fleet operations records within MaintainX
  • Establish order processing and inventory management system to manage spare parts and operational consumables
  • Develop and manage capacity planning across all equipment and personnel
  • Develop internal knowledge sharing portal

Operations

  • Assist in coordination of logistics for equipment

Knowledge Sharing

  • Identify key data metrics
  • Capture and analyze data over time
  • Write reports for public consumption
  • Maintain content on knowledge sharing portal

Training Delivery

  • Localize training content to the Australian market

Continuous improvement

  • Identify and realize opportunities within the business for continuous improvement through implementations of technology, process and people.

Care of Nextracker property

  • All assets are accounted for, maintained and in good working order at all times.
  • Minimize risk of property damage, loss and mistreatment of assets under your teams care.

Other duties

  • Positively contribute to Nextracker through participation, sharing ideas and previous experiences.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Essential
