Job Overview
We currently have a vacant position at our Moss Vale/Minto/Rutherford/Rockhampton/Wacol facility for an Inventory & Systems Support Manager. This position will report directly to the Head of Supply Management, Demand, Planning Fulfillment & Inventory Systems and will be responsible to support the Australian business inventory and systems.
Key Job Responsibilities
SAP and Material Master Governance Owner - ensuring accuracy in material management
**Inventory management**: Analyses data and understand market to support correct inventory levels
Reporting suite owner/developer and analytics of all supply demand, fulfillment, and inventory systems metrics
Develops and oversees the implementation of systems/procedures needed to meet the requirements of supply planning and fulfillment, and to improve the effectiveness of the provisioning effort
Maintains a thorough knowledge of machines, components, rebuild techniques, and material management practices needed for the mining machinery business.
Align planning and forecasting for improved operational execution.
Manages forecasting inputs into IBP and decision-making on the best mechanisms to drive high velocity and customer DIFOT (deliver in full and on time)
Manages all activities related to the Demand planning & establishing of inventory levels and provisioning of new parts, component exchange and complete machine rebuilds.
Develop concise inventory lifecycle models to ensure service levels and inventory turns performances are optimized.
**Manage the coordination of the following activities**: Proshare (global stock sharing) with regions; safety stock levels to support planning events; inventory management and planning parameters; ECM phase in/outs.
Qualifications/Requirements
5+ years’ experience in various supply chain or business analyst roles.
Degree; Supply Chain/ Materials/Management / Business (desired)
Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills who can work independently, lead teams, influence others, develop and coach others
Extensive SAP understanding in the Materials Management and Purchasing functions. Demonstrated financial and business acumen
Strong working knowledge of ERP
Solid understanding of Information Technology requirements, enabling capabilities, and system improvements
Participation in effective Change Management implementation
Experience in cross-functional team assignment(s)
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, fact finding, and communication skills
Detail oriented, creative with strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in fast paced, demanding environment
Self-starter, taking initiative and being committed to results, the team, partners and stakeholders
