THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a Project Engineer with experience in civil, structures or both to join our growing Melbourne team.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

· Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil construction since graduation

· Are permitted to work in Australia

· Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical)

· An outstanding worth ethic and pride in your work

· Strong attention for detail and proven communication skills

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Providing engineering and technical advice to supervisors and project staff

· Compiling comprehensive scope of works

· Month end forecasting and accrual management

· Management of Graduate and Site Engineers

· Planning and managing activities involving major subcontractors, suppliers and service providers

· Management of engineering quality inspections, testing and verification documentation, ensuring works comply with relevant designs and specifications

· Interface with design consultants

· Developing cost effective engineering solutions

· Tracking cost, productivities, and quantities

· Reviewing non-conformance's and providing solutions

· Answering queries from client representatives regarding both general and technical issues

· Planning and scheduling of tasks

· Actively monitoring work practices to ensure adherence to correct standards and procedures for safety and environmental conformance
