Primary Purpose:
The purpose of this role is

• to provide guidance and direction to Burbank clients ensuring they have a positive and engaging experience through the design and selection process of colour schemes, materials, fittings and electrical fixtures and fittings for their new home.

Servicing both internal and external customers you will provide guidance and direction for all matters related to both interior and electrical design whilst supporting the greater Burbank Group business to ensure all obligations of The Edge selection process are met in line with business expectations.

Key Area

• Plan and prepare for scheduled colour and/or electrical appointments ensuring all documentation required to conduct the consultation is available and correct.
• Review all documentation required to conduct the colour and/or electrical consultation are in place.
• Provide and or calculate pricing for selected upgrades of colours, materials, fittings and electrical fixtures and fittings as requested.
• Complete all documentation required to enable the client signing off on all Colour and/or electrical selections on the day of the appointment
• Monitor own performance through regular one to one meetings with Studio Manager on established KRA's & KPI's

Colour Consulting

• Induct Clients in the Burbank Colour consulting process through selection appointment and tours.
• Conduct colour consultation in accordance with Burbank's recommended processes of order and sequence.
• Be personally well groomed and professionally presented during the Colour appointment.
• Provide Clients with clear direction and advice on all products and upgrades.
• Develop rapport with clients to ensure the process is moving to completion on time without distress.
• Maintain at all times a professional and courteous manner during colour appointment.

Electrical Consulting

• Induct clients in the Burbank electrical consulting process
• Conduct electrical consultation in accordance with Burbank's recommended processes of order and sequence
• Provide clients with clear guidance and knowledge on all products and upgrade materials
• Oversee client clarification process including quality, consistency, timing and continuous improvement

Customer Service

• Develop rapport with clients to ensure their selection journey is comforting and move to completion on time without distress
• Assist in the identification of opportunities to educate clients around the selection process
• Address all (internal & external) customer service enquiries ensuring all matters are handled professionally and in a timely manner
• Maintain at all times a professional and courteous manner during colour and/or electrical consultation.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with all team members, suppliers and colleagues within the wider Burbank Group.

Personal Development and Teamwork

• Attend training programs on skills, processes, technical knowledge, customer service and other Burbank processes as required.
• Update self on product benefits and features through provided literature and website links in order to deliver accurate advice to Clients.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with all team members.
• Actively participate and contribute to team meetings for the efficiency of the Colour selection studio and the colour consulting process.

Systems and Processes

• Contributing ideas provide feedback and recommendations for changes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the colour appointment process

Business Objectives

• Review and monitor individual reports on the quantity and value of upgrades in line with established targets and develop strategies to meet those targets
• Ensure Colour and Electrical consultations are completed on time

Typical qualifications and/or Experience

• Qualification in Interior Design or related discipline
• Strong customer service and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Proactive and creative approach to problem solving
• Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer skill
