The role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow the Children's Hospital Foundation's Individual Giving program, ensuring a supporter-centric approach to generating income and engaging donors. Your primary accountability is to drive strategic and operational excellence across individual giving channels including digital, regular giving, donor acquisition, and appeals to support our long-term sustainability and purpose.
You will lead the development and execution of innovative fundraising strategies, manage a team and external partners, and ensure data-driven decision-making to optimise campaign performance and donor experiences. With a strong focus on collaboration, you'll work closely with Marketing and the wider Fundraising team to create seamless and inspiring donor journeys.
Reporting directly to the Head of Mass Fundraising and Engagement your role is pivotal in ensuring our campaigns are strategic, well-executed, and deliver measurable results that make a real difference to sick children in Queensland.
This is a permanent full-time role, based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.

Key criteria
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Qualifications in marketing and/or communications or equivalent level of experience.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in related role.
- Demonstrated experience with acquisition and retention/stewardship of individual donors.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-channel direct marketing/fundraising campaign and integrating across multiple channels including digital, print, telemarketing campaigns.
- Experience in the negotiation and ongoing management of external suppliers.
- Experience planning, briefing, coordinating stakeholders, implementing, and reporting.
- Strong numerical ability and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects within tight timeframes and perform under pressure.
