Purpose of Role

The Key Account Assistant Manager maintains and expands relationships with strategically important customers. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets and delivering on key account objectives. He or she represents the full range of company products and services to assigned customers, leads the customer account planning cycle, and ensures that customer needs and expectations are met.

Your Impact
  • Establishe productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.

  • Drive partnership performance through senior-level stakeholder engagement and delivers world-class customer service.

  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.

  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned accounts.

  • Proactively lead a joint company–strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for both one- and three-year timeframes.

  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.

  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in the sports retail or fashion retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, applied mathematics, budget management, merchandising, retail buying, and sales.
  • Ability to effectively apply project management methodologies.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Process- and delivery-oriented, with solid business analysis and quantitative capabilities.
  • Experience with multinational reporting; willingness to travel locally and internationally.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with cultural sensitivity to regional business environments and local decision-making processes.
