About the role

As the Bar Manager at Annie Lewis Winehouse', you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This full-time role is based in our vibrant Richmond, Victoria location. You will be responsible ensuring smooth and efficient bar service as well as leading a small team.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee bar inventory, ordering and stock management to maintain optimal product levels
  • Create and implement bar service procedures and policies to ensure consistent high quality
  • Develop and maintain bar menus, cocktail recipes and wine lists to showcase the venue's offerings
  • Monitor and analyse bar sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing and health and safety regulations
  • Liaise with suppliers and distributors to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior bartending role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of bar operations, including inventory management, budgeting and cost control
  • Strong wine knowledge and/or interest
  • Creative flair for developing new and innovative cocktail recipes and bar menus
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and presentation
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to provide an exceptional customer experience
