Are you a creative and technically savvy eLearning Developer looking for an opportunity to make an impact? Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) is seeking a talented professional to support the development of high-quality, engaging eLearning content that empowers volunteers to help communities recover from disasters.
About the Role
This is a short-term, full-time contract role (3 months) for an experienced eLearning Developer who can hit the ground running: You'll work closely with our Instructional Designer to create innovative, interactive online learning experiences that enhance our volunteers' capacity to deliver extraordinary results in disaster-affected communities.
With an urgent list of courses to develop, we need someone ready to jump in.
What You'll Do
•
Collaborate with the Instructional Designer to create and refine high-quality eLearning modules and instructional videos.
•
Leverage advanced tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, After Effects) to deliver engaging multimedia learning experiences.
•
Ensure courses are intuitive, interactive, and aligned with DRA's mission and standards.
•
Incorporate feedback to continuously improve training materials.
•
Document workflows and project assets to ensure a smooth handover.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
•
You're an expert in eLearning tools and multimedia software, with advanced skills in Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
•
You're experienced in developing interactive, high-quality training materials.
•
You can manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
•
You're a creative problem-solver with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
•
You have excellent communication skills and thrive in collaborative environments.
•
You have qualifications in eLearning Design & Development, Multimedia Design, Educational Technologies or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
•
You have a minimum of 3 years of eLearning development experience
•
You can provide a portfolio featuring relevant work samples demonstrating your eLearning development work and your capabilities in media design and use of eLearning tools.
A portfolio of your work is required to be considered for this position.
