To further enhance our estimating team, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to contribute to all elements of our modular projects, both commercial and residential.

Position Overview:

As an experienced Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and sophistication in our estimating processes. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and sub-contractors to create detailed estimates that reflect the true costs of building everything from 1-bedroom villas, to multi-storey apartment blocks, kindergartens and classrooms . Your expertise will help streamline our operations and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates for modular projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.

  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate and detailed estimates.

  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve project efficiencies.

  • Maintain and update our estimating database to reflect current market conditions and pricing.

  • Involve yourself in the preparation of bid proposals and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance estimating processes and methodologies.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in modular construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 5+ years experience as an estimator in the commercial or residential construction industry.

  • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to residential construction.

  • Experience in modular building preferred but not essential.
