Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to support a vibrant preschool environment?

We're seeking a caring and dedicated Room Assistant (Diploma or studying towards) to join our 3–5-year-old Preschool Program, working alongside our Lead Educator and team.


About the Role

Position: Room Assistant – Preschool Room (3–5 years)

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

As a Room Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the Lead Educator to deliver a high-quality, play-based program. You will help create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning space for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing a play-based, school readiness program
  • Support daily routines and activities in the preschool room
  • Help create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments
  • Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to maintaining compliance with regulations and centre policies

About You
  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards)
  • Experience supporting a Preschool Curriculum (preferred)
  • Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and a team player
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Working With Children Check and National Police Check
