At Poppi's Preschool and Long Day Care, we are seeking an ambitious, driven and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a full-time Educator role at our new service. We are looking for an educator who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families.
About UsPoppi's Preschool and Long Day Care is a family-owned and family-run, 46-place service located in the heart of the Sutherland Shire, Miranda. We have recently bought a second service and looking to build a experienced team.
The Role
- Full-time position: 4 x 10-hour days per week (40 hours).
- Located in our 2–3 year old room and/or 3-5 rooom, working closely with an experienced team.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children, families and the team.
- Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Comply with National Quality Standards and Poppi's policies and procedures.
- Drive a positive and respected working environment.
- Support a fun, collaborative and nurturing team culture.
- Assist in delivering the educational program while fostering a sense of belonging for children and their families.
- Keep families connected and engaged in their child's learning journey.
Requirements
- A recognised Early Childhood Education qualification.
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Previous experience in early childhood education (essential).
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and inclusive practices.
- Understanding of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements.
- 4-day work week with a regular weekly day off for work-life balance.
- Supportive and friendly team environment.
