The Role

Our Monash Preschool family located at 29 Monash Street, Wentworthville, NSW is seeking a motivated and passionate Trainee Educator (Certificate III) to join our dedicated team. As a Trainee Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to the children in our preschool. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and complete your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while working in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning programs and activities that support the development and wellbeing of children
  2. Provide a safe, secure and caring environment for children, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met
  3. Observe and document children's progress, and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of the preschool's educational programs
  4. Collaborate with the Preschool team to maintain a clean, organised and stimulating learning environment
  5. Uphold and model the preschool's values and policies, and comply with all relevant regulations and legislation

What We're Looking For

  1. Enrolment in, or a willingness to commence, a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  2. A passion for working with young children and a genuine commitment to their development and wellbeing
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  4. A flexible, patient and adaptable approach, with the ability to think quickly and respond effectively to the needs of the children
  5. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow in the role
