We're looking for a Reconciliations Officer to join our Client Accounting team in Docklands, VIC.

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about keeping financial operations running smoothly? In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our daily and monthly deliverables are met within SLA, and that all reconciling items are resolved efficiently. You'll be the first point of contact for general accounts queries and a trusted partner across the team. This role is looking for candidates that can start as soon as possible

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing daily and monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and clearing exceptions within set timeframes
  • Managing clearing account reconciliations, stale cheque monitoring, and PAYG reconciliations
  • Overseeing weekly cash flow reporting and processing EFT transactions promptly
  • Supporting fund payroll processing and contributing to issue resolution and log updates
  • Building strong relationships across the team and providing guidance on general accounts queries
  • Contributing to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and other ad hoc projects

What we're looking for:

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial processing
  • 12 months experience in a role focusing on banking reconciliations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities with minimal rework
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • A collaborative mindset and clear communication style
