About Us

Tuart Engineering is a busy, family-run fabrication workshop based in Kewdale. With a reputation for high-quality custom work and a growing list of long-term clients, we're looking for a skilled Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our team in a full-time, permanent role.

What You'll Do

You won't be stuck doing the same thing every day. We specialise in custom fabrication jobs across a variety of industries, meaning your day-to-day work will be diverse and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Metal fabrication and welding (GMAW/FCAW)
  • Operating workshop machinery (guillotine, press brake, rollers, crane)
  • Reading and interpreting technical fabrication drawings
  • Completing custom jobs independently to deadline
  • Maintaining safety and quality standards

What We're Looking For

You're a motivated, skilled fabricator who can work independently and thrives on variety in your day. You take pride in your craftsmanship and want to work somewhere you're not just a number.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fabrication/boilermaking
  • Strong ability to interpret drawings and work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and finish
  • A current driver's licence
  • Forklift ticket (preferred but not essential)
  • Bonus: Additional tickets or machine operating experience
