Fastrak is based in Western Australia. Our company was established in 1992 to supply personnel across a broad range of areas within the Trades and Services Sector.

Fastrak is currently seeking experienced workshop Mechanical Fitters for long term Perth metro workshop based roles.

About the job:

  • Full time casual day shift
  • Pay rate of $60 - $65 per hour
  • New assembly work on mining fixed plant equipment
  • General maintenance on mechanical components of mining plant along with inspections and other preventative action. This includes:
  • Spiral conveyors / Augers
  • Germination vessels/boxes
  • Related works with pumps, gearboxes, belt and drag chain conveyors, bucket elevators, vibrating screens
  • Crusher rebuilds, hydraulics and other mechanical aspects
  • Modern, clean and progressive workshops

About you:

  • You must be residing in Western Australia and have unrestricted working rights
  • Australian Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate (or recognised equivalent)
  • Workshop experience completing necessary mechanical fitting.
  • Commitment to Company safety policies and procedures
  • Recent experience in workshop mechanical fitting
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment medical
