Full Time Position

Due to the expansion in our Kalgoorlie operations we currently have vacancies for persons with Boilermaker, Welder, Coded Welder, Cladder (Sheetmetal Trades Worker) & Fitter experiences. These Positions are Kalgoorlie based and not FIFO.

Duties are included as below but not limited, please contact us for detailed duties for each position:

  • Fabricate steel or metal components according to drawing and superior instructions
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill or otherwise from and assemble metal components
  • Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or sub-units, following drawing and layout specifications, using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools
  • Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
  • Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
  • Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
  • Ability to design and fabricate sheet metal products, such as ducting, piping and tubing
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Cutting, bending and stamping sheet metal in accordance with design instructions
  • Installing and assembling sheet metal products
  • Fitting and assembling products based on technical drawings
  • Installing and shaping products made from metal sheets
  • Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine

They should have the following requirements

  • Trade Certificate
  • Up to 3 Years Experience Able to do roster work
  • Must be able to pass a D & A test and police clearance.
  • Able to Undertake Pre-employment Medical

These positions are permanent positions.

Hourly rate is $40 - $50.00 per hour
