About the role:

An Agency is seeking three IT Continuity & Cyber Resilience Specialists to join its Cyber Risk Transformation Team within the Cyber Security and Identity Branch. The Cyber Risk Transformation Team focuses on improving the agency's cyber security posture across four key areas:

  • Cyber Threat Intelligence
  • Cyber Risk Management
  • Cyber Security Governance and Architecture
  • Disaster Recovery and Contingency Planning

These roles will be embedded within the Disaster Recovery and Contingency Planning workstream to support and enhance existing capabilities. If you are a driven professional with expertise in disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and cyber resilience, this is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing enterprise-level ICT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and System Contingency Plans.
  • Assessing organisational risks and capability gaps related to crisis management and infrastructure resilience.
  • Integrating cybersecurity principles into contingency planning processes.
  • Analysing IT infrastructure and DR technologies, including backup systems and cloud platforms.
  • Conducting tabletop exercises, test execution, and post-mortem reviews.
  • Aligning Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery practices with enterprise risk management frameworks.
  • Implementing contingency frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO 27001/22301.

Skills:

  • Minimum of five years in cyber security, with demonstrated experience in disaster recovery scenarios, continuity planning, and crisis management plans.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, cloud environments, and cybersecurity principles.
