The Opportunity

As a Health & Wellness Supervisor, you will be the champion of our 'better for you' products. You'll lead the department in merchandising, growth, and innovation - sourcing new products, refining displays, and delighting customers. You'll partner with Store and Department Managers to deliver strong sales, maintain cost discipline, and ensure compliance.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead
    day to day operations within the Health, Wellness & Gourmet department
  • Drive
    merchandising strategies, promotional execution and seasonal resets
  • Partner
    with suppliers and external brands for product initiatives
  • Monitor
    stock, pricing, margins & shrinkage
  • Guide
    the team (or individual contributors) to deliver outstanding service
  • Enforce
     food safety, workplace health & safety and store policies
  • Participate
     in planning meetings, trend reviews, and departmental strategies

What You Bring

  • A love for health, nutrition and wellness trends
  • You're a foodie with an instinct for what our local community loves to discover and take home
  • Strong understanding of food/wellness categories, supplier relationships & merchandising
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Experience managing inventory, cost control and retail metrics
  • Adaptable across a 7 day roster (occasional evenings and Saturday or Sunday required)
  • Enthusiasm and passion for this space.

Great to have:

  • Retail leadership or supervisory experience
  • Exposure to promotional planning or supplier negotiations
  • Knowledge of local health food brands or niche categories

You'll be someone who cares about health, thrives on innovation, and builds relationships easily - with team members, customers, and suppliers alike.
