Health Information Manager

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Provide health information management advice and education to staff as needed on matters relating to health record management (paper-based or electronic)
- Provide expert advice on the design, development and managment of clinical forms (paper-based or electronic format).
- Participate in quality improvement activities and projects and actively support, promote and participate in quality activities aimed at improving the accurate recording of patient data in accordance with the National Safety and Quality Health Standards.
- Provide information to key stakeholders on data quality and health information issues and legislation, demonstrating a high level understanding of the importance of accurate and timely clinical and administrative patient data collection for patient safety, reporting and funding outcomes.
