The Role

Accountable to all stakeholders (employees and clients) for the following key objectives: 

  • Assisting in the management of the System Support Team, including providing direction to team members
  • Provide hardware and software support to staff in Australia and overseas
  • Provide software support to over 2,000 end users of our software
  • Providing support to the business in the delivery of a wide range of IT projects including RPA and rules engine.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve and update IT infrastructure
  • On-boarding of software clients, ensuring timely delivery, installation, training and implementation of the software product range as required.
  • Participate in daily stand ups and assist Head of Technology with sprint planning for the development team.
  • Manage and complete User Acceptance Testing as directed for the software products
  • Continually participate in self-learning, in conjunction with formal training, to ensure skills are continually developed to ensure ease of providing service to our customers
  • Other ad hoc projects or related activities to the above as directed by the Head of Technology or CEO

Skills & Experience

  • 2 years proven working experience in technical/IT helpdesk support supervisor position
  • Experience in any or all the following areas is highly desirable: business analyst role or similar; Scrum development; SaaS or Quality Assurance testing; System administration; Power Platform, RPA, rules engines and low code apps
  • An understanding of the finance / accounting industry. Experience in the industry a distinct advantage
  • Be a self-starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced problem - solving skills
  • Adapt to a fast-changing work environment, taking on new challenges whenever necessary
  • Excellent time-management and organisation skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours where required, weekends and evenings required on an ad-hoc basis
  • Ability to be self-taught in a variety of software applications and take on ownership of new technology implementation throughout the business
