Description

About the role

As a Stevedore you will work with a team responsible for the loading and unloading of cargo vessels at our Fisherman Islands Terminal located in the Port of Brisbane.

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To meet our customer requirements and variable shipping schedules, Stevedores must be readily available to work across all shifts and days. Our employees apply themselves to any task they are competent and able to perform, assisting their colleagues with a positive attitude and exceptional teamwork.



Skills And Experiences

TML are looking for

Individuals with qualifications from various sectors including which are highly regarded (but not essential), including:

  • CB – Bridge and gantry crane
  • CP – Portal Crane
  • SG – Ships gear
  • DG – Dogman's
  • Ri – Riggers intermediate and above
  • LF - forklift
  • RS – reach stacker
  • Working at heights
  • Open Drivers' Licence.
  • Ability to obtain Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
  • Ability to complete relevant Inductions.
  • Consent to undergo a pre-employment medical and physical assessment, including a drug and alcohol test.
  • Compliance with fit for work requirements.
