Company

Our client is an Australian manufacturer of hydraulic lifting, loading and handling systems, they have established themselves as a global leader in their field continually striving to provide customers with unique advantages that reflect in exceptional operational performance and long-term profitability. Due to increases in demand for their product they are currently needed an experienced fitter. 

Role

You will be responsible for the preparation and installation of new cranes and loaders as per customer specifications. This includes the following duties.

  • Truck hydraulic installs
  • Hydraulic hosing
  • Minor auto electrical work
  • VLC recertification
  • Welding and fabrication of subframes and bracketry

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Ideally relevant trade qualification would be an advantage but not necessary
  • Hydraulic servicing and repair experience
  • Excellent diagnostic and mechanical problem-solving skills
  • Passionate and focused on workplace health and safety
  • Ability to adapt to work requirements and prioritise workloads
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

The successful candidate must be able to pass a compulsory pre-employment medical, drugs and alcohol assessment.
