Role
In your role as the diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for all servicing requirements for trucks and truck bodies. This will be both scheduled servicing and breakdown/repair work, you will be primarily working on CAT, Cummins, and Detroit engines as well as hydraulic and electric over hydarulic systems. Part of your work may also include working on small mobile plant equipment.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Australian trade qualifications as a heavy diesel mechanic/fitter
- Forklift license
- Open car license
- Previous experience with Cat, Cumins or Detroit motors
- Those with additional experience with EWPs/mobile plant equipment will be highly desirable
