About The Opportunity
With strong growth in our Brisbane Remanufacturing branch, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and mechanically minded Electrical Fitter to join our Service Department on the day shift and work alongside our Brisbane team based in Wacol.
In this role, you'll enjoy performing holistic high voltage electrical services, maintenance and repairs on Electric Drive Hitachi Dump Trucks with various other earthmoving plant components and product lines. With unlimited access to technical support and OEM level training, you will be well equipped to perform your best when performing diagnostic evaluations and component fault analytics on quality earthmoving machinery.
About You - To be successful in this role, you will need:
Safety Commitment – Proactive awareness and total assurance of Hitachi's number one priority
Qualifications – Certificate III in Electrical Fitting and a current driver's license – WAH, Dogging & Forklift Tickets would also be advantageous
Technical Skillset – High OEM level understanding of Dump trucks and High Voltage electrical fault finding & diagnosis on AC & DC Motors – Specific exposure to Hitachi equipment, KATO or Siemens Motors will be a distinct advantage
Customer Focus – Connected and committed to delivering Hitachi's promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
Autonomous productivity – Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver quality outcomes in a high pressure environment
Personable and Professional Communication Skills – above all else, we are looking for a real team player who has positive communication skills; both written and verbal as you will be report writing and completing risk assessments
