Generalist role for in-house legal counsel

This is an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer wishing to work in-house as part of a supportive legal team providing legal services to a national business that operates in the dynamic fast moving consumer goods and aquaculture sectors. As part of a global aquaculture corporate group, the business is committed to operating sustainably and to addressing the challenges of climate change with positive solutions.
The full-time position has come about from internal movements. Based at our gorgeous waterfront office in Hobart, the position offers a unique opportunity to connect locally and put into play your (desirable) experience in one or more of: commercial law, contracts and drafting, intellectual property and consumer law. If you don't have experience in all of these – that is okay – we would still love to hear from you.

Who are we?
Tassal is Australia's largest seafood producer, processor and sales and marketer with around 2,000 people working across Australia. Tassal purpose is 'Sustainably Feeding Tomorrow' which is realised by farming salmon, prawns and barramundi in Australia and marketing those products to customers, onshore and overseas.
