Generalist role for in-house legal counsel

This is an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer wishing to work in-house as part of a supportive legal team providing legal services to a national business that operates in the dynamic fast moving consumer goods and aquaculture sectors. As part of a global aquaculture corporate group, the business is committed to operating sustainably and to addressing the challenges of climate change with positive solutions.

The full-time position has come about from internal movements. Based at our gorgeous waterfront office in Hobart, the position offers a unique opportunity to connect locally and put into play your (desirable) experience in one or more of: commercial law, contracts and drafting, intellectual property and consumer law. If you don't have experience in all of these – that is okay – we would still love to hear from you.

• Demonstrated ability as a generalist across various aspects of law

• A desire to work in-house and contribute to the team and business overall goals

• Applying effective interpersonal and communication skills to achieve timely results

• Admitted to practice as a lawyer in an Australian jurisdiction

• Workplace experience as a lawyer for at least 3 years post admission to practice
