EXECUTIVE CENTRE DIRECTOR: PADSTOW

Radical Recruitment is proud to partner with a boutique centre to appoint a dedicated and passionate Executive Centre Director. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with a Bachelor of Education (ECEC) or Diploma in ECEC with proven Centre Director experience to join a thriving service located near Padstow, NSW.

We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable professional with strong leadership and team management skills. In this role, you will inspire and support educators to deliver high-quality, child-led learning experiences that foster independence, creativity, and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities as Centre Director:

  • Provide clear vision and direction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care.
  • Oversee daily operations of the centre by leading, mentoring, and developing educators, fostering professional growth and a positive team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS), regulations, and centre policies.
  • Oversee curriculum planning and support educators in delivering child-led, inquiry-based learning.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the wider community.
  • Manage enrolments, occupancy, and centre budgets effectively.
  • Lead recruitment, conduct tours, and implement marketing initiatives to support centre growth.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A Bachelor or Diploma in (ECEC)
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, and CPR certification.
  • Recent Child Protection Training.
  • Experience with the Assessment & Rating cycle and maintaining/updating the QIP.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and NQS.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Genuine passion for early childhood education and alignment with the service's philosophy.
