Your story your way

About the role

You will be:

· Providing individual support to 43 year old male participant with Early Onset Dementia with all activities of daily living.

· Able to build rapport with the participant's family and engage him based on his interests

· Flexible/available to cover day and/or night shifts (8-10hrs per shift including sleepovers)

· Providing in home supports and potentially supporting the participant to access the community when required

· Working closely with the participant, family, and support team

Skills and Experience

· Relevant Qualifications e.g. disability, aged care, community services or relevant experience.

· NDIS Screening

· National Police Clearance

· NDIS worker orientation module

. Covid-19 Vaccination

. Medication Competency Certificate

· First aid & CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain one

· Valid Driver's License & a reliable vehicle

· Comprehensive Car Insurance

· Working with children check

· Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening

· Ability to problem solve, think creatively and find innovative solutions
