Do you love the buzz of a busy cafe, crafting great coffee, and making someone's day with fantastic service? Are you ready to step up and take on a little extra responsibility? Miami Bakehouse Myalup is looking for a friendly, energetic Cafe Assistant with some supervisory experience to join our vibrant team.

Located on the corner of Forrest Highway and Taranto Road, Myalup is one of our busiest stores — a favourite stop for locals and travelers alike. This position combines both Cafe Assistant and Key Holder responsibilities. This position combines both Cafe Assistant and Supervisory responsibilities. Most shifts will involve customer service and sales, while some will include Level 2 supervisory duties such as opening or closing the store and leading the team in the absence of the manager.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Cafe Manager with day-to-day operations.
  • Lead by example and help motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Jump in where needed — from taking orders and preparing coffees to ensuring the cafe stays clean and welcoming.
  • Help maintain stock, follow established processes and uphold our high food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Help train and guide new team members with a positive, can-do attitude.

Who You Are:

You're a people person who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and genuinely enjoys creating positive experiences for others. Confident and approachable, you know how to communicate clearly and motivate a team to do their best work. You're reliable, organised, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. Flexibility is important to you — you're available to work weekends and public holidays when needed.

Ideally, you'll have previous cafe or hospitality experience, and if you've got barista skills, that's a bonus You'll also need a current driver's license and reliable transport to get to our Myalup cafe.
