Assistant Branch Manager - Bundaberg

To support our ambition, we have introduced a newly created leadership role of Assistant Branch Manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive business growth and uphold compliance with risk and operational standards. Whether you are from a banking background or looking to transition your leadership career into the banking industry, we would love to hear from you.
You will be a hands-on leader and responsible for:
- Supporting the Branch Manager in driving overall performance and strategic development of the branch
- Supporting the Branch Manager to coach and mentor the team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive profitability
- Work quickly with purpose for our customers, putting them at the centre of everything you do
- Champion strong compliance and operational controls while coaching the team to uphold the same standards.
- Deliver a brilliant, consistent, and engaging experience to our customers, putting them at the centre of everything you do and inspiring your team to follow
We're looking for passionate leaders deliver the best for our customers and are looking for:
- Proven experience leading a team of 3 or more in a retail or customer service environment.
- Exceptional people leadership skills to influence, coach, and work collaboratively with the team
- A strong communicator with a passion for delivering amazing customer experiences and an unwavering commitment to quality, with the will to go the extra mile
- Highly organized leader who values compliance and risk protection to safeguard the business
- Experience in banking/financial services is not essential but highly regarded
