QLM is Australia's leading innovative and service driven label and flexible packaging manufacturer and we are looking for an Experienced Pouch Machine Operatorto join our team based in Moorabbin.

As a Pouch Machine Operator with QLM, you play a crucial role in the Production department by ensuring the efficient operation of pouch making machinery. Your contribution directly impacts the company's success by maintaining high-quality production standards and meeting output targets. This role is essential for streamlining the packaging process and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in pouch-making, flexible packaging, or similar manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with pouch sealing, cutting, and forming technologies
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on and proactive approach to process improvement and team collaboration

Reporting to the Production Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Running a variety of pouch machines in a timely and efficient manner
  • Carry out work in accordance with company safety and quality processes and procedures
  • Meet Production output KPI's
  • Work with integrity and be a team player

Excellent Working Conditions:

  • Full time: permanent 40 hour week
  • Annual salary reviews + bonus structure for meeting production targets
  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
