Due to our continued expansion, Enviro Sweep are seeking an enthusiastic Sweeper Operatorto help maintain clean community areas including weed spraying of streets for our new clients in Moorabbin. We are looking for a reliable, efficient, and safety-conscious Operator to join our dynamic and growing company. This role offers the chance to play a key role in our mission of environmental maintenance.

The role is Casual and based at Moorabbin depot. You will be part of a small, friendly crew within a national company and report directly to the Operations Supervisor. We welcome applicants with prior road sweeping and weed sprayer experience, general labouring duties. Prior truck driving experience and a respect of safety procedures will further enhance your success. A strong willingness to learn is also welcome, as comprehensive training will also be provided.

Main Responsibilities of the Role

· Perform scheduled road and site sweeping duties

· Carry out general labouring duties as required, including weed spraying when required

· Ensure all road sweeping work meets management standards and customer expectations

· Complete site inductions and accreditation when required

· Perform routine start-up, wash-down, and end-of-shift maintenance tasks

· Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks as directed with accuracy

· Maintain compliance to all road rules and National Heavy Vehicle legislation

To be great at this role, you bring:

· A minimum of 2 years' truck driving experience (experience with council garbage trucks or dual steering vehicles is a bonus)

· Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with company objectives and use sound judgment

· A focus on safety, defensive driving, respect for other road users, care and pride in the equipment

· Strong sense of urgency and commitment to punctuality

· Excellent time management and organisational skills

· Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, as required

· High energy levels and physical fitness

· Enjoy variety of work environments

· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

· A current VIC MR licence (or higher) and a valid White Card

· Attention to detail and quality of work
