About Us

Vacupack is a well-established manufacturer of high-quality thermoformed and injection-moulded plastic packaging solutions—primarily for the food industry. Our modern cleanroom facility is equipped with the latest servo-driven extrusion and moulding machinery, ensuring rigorous quality and hygiene standards on every shift.

The Role

As our first dedicated **PET Extruder Operator**, you will:

- **Set up & run** our brand-new PET extrusion line, ensuring smooth start-up, changeovers, and shutdowns
- **Monitor process parameters** (temperature, pressure, throughput) via PLC/HMI interfaces
- **Troubleshoot** mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
- **Maintain product quality**—verify resin specifications, melt index, and dimensional tolerances
- **Perform routine maintenance** and assist with minor repairs or part replacements
- **Follow cleanroom protocols** (gowning, sanitation, contamination control) at all times
- **Record production data** accurately in our ERP system and escalate any deviations

What We’re Looking For
- **Experience**: ≥ 2 years operating PET (or comparable polymer) extrusion machinery
- **Technical skills**: Strong mechanical aptitude; familiarity with servo drives, pneumatic systems, and PLC/HMI controls
- **Quality focus**: Keen eye for detail, with a track record of meeting tight tolerances
- **Cleanroom compliance**: Comfortable working in gown-up environments and adhering to GMP/food-grade standards
- **Problem solver**: Proactive mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve production issues on the fly
- **Team player**: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to continuous improvement

**Nice to Have**:

- Forklift licence
- Basic welding or belt-conveyor maintenance experience
