YOUR NEW JOB

As Surface Mining Key Account Manager, you will work across the Bowen Basin, Mackay, and Gladstone, servicing conveyor systems within Coal Preparation Plants (CPPs) and other material handling facilities. This isn't about chasing quick wins,  it's about credibility, trust, and long-term relationships.

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of prep plant and washery clients
  • Conduct site inspections and assess conveyor systems
  • Recommend tailored service and product solutions
  • Build deep technical trust through lived mining experience
  • Negotiate contracts, prepare quotes, and identify growth opportunities
  • Deliver revenue targets while strengthening client partnerships

Reporting directly to the QLD State Manager, you will be supported by a leader who is technically sharp, loyal, and collaborative.

ABOUT YOU

  • You will likely have come from the tools, transitioning from hands-on mining or maintenance into sales or service.
  • Practical technical knowledge of conveyors within CPPs or material handling facilities
  • The ability to translate site challenges into effective conveyor solutions
  • Strong relationship skills and a service-first mindset
  • Credibility with site teams, built on lived experience
  • Resilience, loyalty, and motivation for long-term success
