Merlo Group Australia is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an 
Administration Assistant - Entry Level
. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a nationally recognised 
Certificate III in Business (Administration)
.

You'll be part of a supportive and friendly team, learning a variety of office and administration skills in a professional environment.

What You'll Learn and Do

As part of your role, you'll be trained and supported in:

  • Welcoming visitors and assisting with reception duties.
  • Handling incoming calls, mail, and general correspondence.
  • Filing, scanning, photocopying, and maintaining records.
  • Assisting with purchasing and raising simple purchase orders.
  • Coordinating travel bookings (flights, accommodation, car hire).
  • Supporting warranty and sales administration processes.
  • Helping the logistics team with documentation and data entry.
  • Maintaining office and kitchen supplies.
  • Supporting other departments with administrative tasks as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Eager to learn and start a career in administration or business operations.
  • Friendly, professional, and enjoys working with people.
  • Organised and has great attention to detail.
  • Reliable and willing to take initiative.
  • Confident using a computer and learning new systems.

Preferred Skills & Qualities

  • Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn from others.
  • Interest in developing long-term skills within a business environment.
