Deià Designs is a boutique property styling and interiors studio based in Byron Bay. We are on the hunt for a proactive, detail-driven Executive Assistant & Styling Coordinator to support both day-to-day operations and hands-on styling work.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, innovative, can be hands-on with moving/styling furniture/decor, and has a natural eye for aesthetics - even if you're not a trained stylist (yet), but if you have any experience or even a passion for interior styling/design.
What You'll Be Doing
A blend of admin, logistics and creative support, including:
Administration & Client Management
- Managing inbox, enquiries and calendar bookings
- Preparing quotes, proposals and follow-up emails
- Liaising with suppliers, trades, hire companies and clients
- Assisting with contracts, invoicing and tracking job progress
Project & Install Coordination
- Scheduling installs, removals, deliveries and warehouse organisation
- Tracking furniture, product orders and timelines
- Ensuring install days run smoothly and efficiently
- Managing small on-site tasks like returns, receipts and checklists
Styling & On-Site Support
- Assisting with installs, pack-downs and property staging
- Making beds, unpacking décor, fluffing cushions, steaming/vacuuming, placing items
- Supporting photography day prep
- Maintaining a polished and professional presentation on site
Studio & Warehouse Organisation
- Keeping inventory, stock levels and systems organised
- Preparing upcoming install items and coordinating logistics

- Comfortable with physical work on styling days
Bonus (not essential):
- Experience in styling, interiors, real estate, admin or logistics
- Knowledge of Excel, Canva, Xero, Notion or similar tools is a major bonus
- Interest in interiors and design styling trends - has a good eye and can put together a cohesive and stylish look/can be trained quickly
Role Details
- Part-time with flexibility (2–4 days per week depending on workload)
- We have a warehouse/office space in Mullumbimby where you will sometimes work from, otherwise you'll be on-site installing at various locations around Byron Bay
- Must have driver's licence and reliable transport
- Based in Byron Bay area and available for weekday install days (no weekend work)
