Business Review Group (BRG) is seeking an experienced BMS Systems Engineer / Modelpedia Developer to join a Defence program supporting the One Defence Capability System (ODCS).

Working within the VCDF Group's Investment Portfolio Management Branch, you will contribute to the ongoing design, development and maintenance of Defence's Business Management System (BMS) libraries and intranet content on both the Defence Protected and Secret networks.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured process work, technical modelling and systems development within a large, purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, update and maintain business process models within Holocentric / Modelpedia
  • Support the ongoing development of ODCS, VCDF and Defence Preparedness BMS libraries
  • Maintain and enhance intranet content for IPMB, VCDF and Preparedness areas
  • Assist with the digitisation and optimisation of Defence administrative processes in line with Enterprise Business Process Management (EBPM) frameworks
  • Support the senior project lead by implementing BMS updates and managing release documentation
  • Work collaboratively with Defence stakeholders to ensure horizontal and vertical alignment across capability process models
  • Participate in fortnightly progress meetings and deliver contributions to monthly BMS release updates

About You

You'll bring a mix of technical skill and analytical thinking, with an interest in improving how Defence manages information and processes.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Practical experience with Holocentric / Modelpedia
  • Systems engineering approach to problem solving and process design
  • Experience managing or updating web or intranet content
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and structured documentation skills

Desirable

  • Exposure to Defence capability management or ODCS environments
  • Knowledge of EBPM and ERP systems
  • Experience in process mapping, digitisation or information governance
