Mental Health Worker
to join our
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Team
– a service dedicated to providing trauma-informed, recovery-focused care that supports the whole person. Join a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, accessible care to children, adolescents, and their families

About The Role

  • Deliver holistic, trauma-informed support – Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, assertive outreach, and intensive case management for young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges.

  • Partner with families and communities – Work closely with carers, schools, headspace, and local agencies to create wraparound, family-inclusive care that strengthens support networks.

  • Empower and inspire young people – Offer therapy, crisis intervention, and comprehensive assessments while building playful, creative, and empathetic relationships that foster resilience and self-expression.

  • Thrive in a supportive team culture – Join a close-knit, multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, camaraderie, and fun, while being recognised for excellence in carer and family experience

Position Description

About You

  • Degree qualifications in area of specialty, and maintenance of all professional registration required to practice, including but not limited to APHRA with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to work from various locations around the district.

  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
  • Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2
