We are delighted to announce an opportunity for a permanent full time Mental Health Clinician to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Team.

About **You**
- Minimum Tertiary bachelor's degree in psychology, Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration or Social Work with AASW membership or Counselling or Community Welfare, with three years post graduate experience in mental health; OR Master's Degree Clinical Psychology with endorsement to practice as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA OR Tertiary bachelor's degree in nursing (Inc. Div. 1 AHPRA registration) with relevant post grad qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their post grad study
- Postgraduate experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.
- Demonstrated knowledge of working within a crisis intervention model of care.

**Where you'll be working**

The position sits within CAMHS and provides assertive outreach and intensive case management, specifically aimed at engaging young people aged 0 to 17 years experiencing acute mental health distress. - To provide professional clinical services to children/young people aged 0-17 and their families/carers. To resolve mental health crisis. - To provide evidence based individual therapy with a recovery focus. - To ensure families and carers have input into assessments, care plans and reviews where appropriate. - To liaise with relevant agencies and actively participate in case conferences and team meetings concerning the care of children/young people and support families/carers. - To consult with team members and staff from other agencies regarding the care and management of children/young people.

This position works extended hours on a 7-day rotating roster: Monday to Friday 12:00 to 20:30 and Saturday and Sunday 09:30 to 18:00.
