ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a D6 Swamp Dozer/ Excavator Operator to join our operations team at Chevallum. This casual position offers an immediate start, steady hours and varied work across a range of heavy equipment. Potential to convert from casual to full-time.

You will operate an Excavator/ D6 dozer for swamp pit operations, land clearing, stockpile management and general earthworks, ensuring safe and efficient site performance.

This role is based in Chevallum, QLD - applicants should live locally or be willing to relocate.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES


• Safely operate a D6 dozer for swamp pit operations, bulk earthworks and site preparation

• Complete stockpile pushing, levelling and maintaining material flow

• Conduct daily pre-starts, equipment checks and basic maintenance

• Monitor ground conditions and work areas to maintain safe operation

• Communicate with truck drivers, supervisors and the site team for coordinated workflow

• Maintain accurate records and follow site safety and environmental requirements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE


• Proven experience operating a D6 Dozer/ Excavator (essential)

• Experience in quarries, earthmoving, civil or mining environments

• RII Dozer competency


• Strong awareness of safe work practices and site communication

• Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated team

• Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards of operation
