About Us

Established in 2009, Child and Adolescent Development Service (CAADS),is a well-regarded allied health practice committed to supporting the wellbeing of young people and their families. We assist clients to understand and manage a wide range of concerns, providing individualised therapy with a strengths-based focus.


The Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join us. If you are seeking a great opportunity to use and develop your skills in a fulfilling private practice role and want to make a genuine difference in young people's lives, we want to hear from you. We offer a supportive, team-based work environment, full reception support and ongoing client referrals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Providing effective, high quality, evidence-based interventions therapy across a range of clinical issues
  • Working collaboratively with educators, GPs, and allied health professionals
  • Preparing reports and other written communication as required

  • Maintaining clear and accurate client records consistent with ethical standards

  • Working in accordance with Psychology Board of Australia's Code of Conduct (2025), clinical guidelines and other relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

  • Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and adolescents
  • Has good critical thinking skills and ability for complex case conceptualisation
  • Empathetic, patient, and adaptable in their therapeutic approach
  • Skilled in building rapport with young people and their families
  • Collaborative and eager to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team

You will also have:

  • Qualifications in Psychology and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia

  • Experience in child/adolescent mental health or developmental disorders

  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance or willingness to obtain
  • Australian Business Number (ABN) or willingness to obtain
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
