Shore is a leading Anglican Day and Boarding School, known for excellence in academic, cultural and sporting pursuits and for fostering integrity in moral and spiritual development. We are a community where purpose, belonging and care are at the heart of what we do.
We are seeking a warm, skilled and proactive School Psychologist (Years 3–6) to join our dynamic School Psychology Services team, based at the North Sydney Campus. This part-time role (0.6 FTE, 3 days per week) offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
Whether you're currently in a school or moving from private practice, this role offers a meaningful change of pace, working closely with teachers, families and students, with the time and support to deliver thoughtful, high-quality care.
What You'll Do
- Provide counselling, assessment and intervention for students with emotional, social and learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student growth and wellbeing.
- Deliver early intervention and small group programs.
- Contribute to a whole-school approach to wellbeing and child protection.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with APS and AHPRA guidelines.
About You
You'll be a registered psychologist (AHPRA) who genuinely enjoys working with children and partnering with families and educators. You bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and a collaborative approach. School experience is valued but not essential — what matters most is your ability to connect, adapt and make a positive difference.
Why Join Shore?
At Shore, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues in a collegial, purpose-driven team. You'll enjoy structured school terms, professional learning opportunities, and the reward of seeing students flourish in a community that values character, care and excellence.
