We're seeking a Junior Accounts / Admin Assistant to join our Port Melbourne team. This role will be part-time (30 hours per week) through to December, transitioning to full-time (38 hours per week) from January.

This role is essential for supporting our finance and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations as we continue to expand. The ideal candidate will contribute to our team by managing invoices, liaising with suppliers, and providing administrative support, all while fostering a collaborative workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices for payment in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Liaise with suppliers and other key stakeholders regarding invoices and purchase orders.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships and respond to account queries.
  • Register and allocate invoices accurately.
  • Provide administrative support as required.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Assist in arranging social events and meetings.
  • Support the admin team and cover staff during leave periods.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Genuine interest in accounts and finance, with relevant experience or qualifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software is preferred.
