About our Farming Team
Our Farming team operates from our Greystanes Office located at 30 Cumberland Road, Greystanes NSW 2145. The farming team provides administrative and technical support to the internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description
This position is required to work collaboratively and broadly with an important focus on collaboration between the farming team, contract growers and hatchery Administration. The role will require exceptional time management and planning to ensure effective administration of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting information, along with finalizing the grower's end of batch results.
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Providing general support to the Farming team, including data entry, customer and supplier support, and other administrative duties where required.
- Communicate effectively with internal & external stakeholders, providing clear instructions and building positive relationships.
- Create purchase orders in accordance with Company's purchasing policy. Providing customers with periodic performance reports
- Manage consumables for farming team
- Invoicing as required
- Responsible for all feed invoicing and reconciliation
- Checking grower's final end of batch information, inputting batch /feed info into Monthly pool files.
- Collate and check all weighbridge and feed dockets and complete growers end of batch results
- Compile hatchery /farming report weekly and send to all stakeholders
- Complete weekly meeting file info from hatchery /farming
- Update weekly power bi report as required
- Check and submit hatchery levy monthly to dept of agriculture
- Maintain farming density file daily
- Generate accurate production-based reports when required.
- Completion of dispatch paperwork.
- Ensure accurate data entry of paperwork, in a timely manner.
- Resolve discrepancies from data information.
- Generate periodic reports.
- Liaison with feed mills re: any feed issues and reporting issues.
- End of month reconciliation of grower's pool information, feed kilos day-olds etc to balance with other relevant files
- Reporting monthly total kilos and feed to all stakeholders
- Record keeping of all grower's paperwork end of batches etc
- Responsible for all growers' payments to be correct then entered for payment
- General administrative duties.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years' experience in an administration role.
- Australian citizenship, an Australian Permanent Visa, or a Special Category Visa (if a New Zealand citizen living in Australia).
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task and to manage competing priorities.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and results orientated.
- Willingness to learn and motivation to succeed.
- Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Strong influential skills and ability to make strong relationships
- Problem solving ability.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Accounts and reconciliation
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and goal driven.
